Magic Box — Aviation, RC & Autonomous Systems · Experimental Use Only

1. Definitions
Section titled “1. Definitions”| Term | Meaning |

| ”Magic Box” | The hardware device, embedded software, firmware, algorithms, configuration files, updates, and documentation provided by the Producer |
| ”Producer” | The manufacturer, designer, seller, distributor, and any affiliated entities |
| ”User” | Any natural or legal person who purchases, installs, configures, integrates, tests, operates, or has access to Magic Box |
| ”Aircraft” | RC aircraft, UAVs, drones, fixed-wing aircraft, multirotors, rockets, experimental platforms, autonomous or semi-autonomous vehicles, and any airborne system |
2. Experimental and non-certified status
Section titled “2. Experimental and non-certified status”Magic Box is an experimental, non-certified device.
- It is NOT certified for aviation use.
- It is NOT approved by EASA, FAA, CAA, or any other aviation or regulatory authority.
- It is NOT a safety-critical or fail-safe system.
Magic Box must be treated strictly as a test and development tool.
3. Prohibited uses
Section titled “3. Prohibited uses”Magic Box must NOT be used:
- as a primary or secondary flight-control system in manned aircraft
- as a safety-critical component in any aircraft or vehicle
- for collision avoidance, terrain avoidance, or emergency recovery
- in any application where malfunction could result in injury, death, or significant property damage
- beyond visual line of sight (BVLOS) operations where prohibited by law
- in commercial or operational aviation unless explicitly permitted by law and operated solely at the User’s risk
4. No reliance on outputs
Section titled “4. No reliance on outputs”All outputs, signals, telemetry, control actions, and data produced by Magic Box:
- may be inaccurate, delayed, incomplete, or incorrect
- may fail silently or unpredictably
- must never be relied upon as accurate or safe
The User is responsible for implementing independent verification, redundancy, and failsafe mechanisms.
5. Sole responsibility of the User
Section titled “5. Sole responsibility of the User”The User assumes full, exclusive, and unlimited responsibility for:
- aircraft airworthiness
- flight safety
- system configuration and calibration
- testing and validation
- operational decisions before, during, and after flight
- autonomous and semi-autonomous behaviors
The Producer provides no operational oversight or supervision.
6. Third-party liability
Section titled “6. Third-party liability”The User accepts full responsibility for any harm or damage to:
- persons
- property
- third-party aircraft or systems
- infrastructure or airspace users
arising directly or indirectly from the use, misuse, modification, or failure of Magic Box.
The Producer bears no liability toward any third party.
7. Autonomous and semi-autonomous operation
Section titled “7. Autonomous and semi-autonomous operation”Where Magic Box enables autonomous or semi-autonomous operation:
- the User remains the sole responsible operator at all times
- autonomy does not transfer responsibility to the Producer
- any unsafe, unexpected, or unlawful behavior remains the User’s responsibility
8. No warranty
Section titled “8. No warranty”Magic Box is provided “AS IS” and “WITH ALL FAULTS”.
The Producer expressly disclaims all warranties, including but not limited to:
- airworthiness
- fitness for flight
- safety
- regulatory compliance
- uninterrupted or error-free operation
9. Limitation of liability
Section titled “9. Limitation of liability”To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Producer shall not be liable for:
- crashes, fly-aways, or loss of control
- personal injury or death
- damage to aircraft, payloads, or equipment
- loss of data, models, or configurations
- regulatory penalties, fines, or enforcement actions
This applies even if the Producer has been advised of the possibility of such damages.
10. Indemnification
Section titled “10. Indemnification”The User agrees to fully indemnify and hold harmless the Producer from any claims, demands, losses, damages, costs, or legal actions arising from the use of Magic Box.
11. Regulatory compliance
Section titled “11. Regulatory compliance”The User is solely responsible for compliance with all applicable laws and regulations, including but not limited to:
- aviation regulations (EASA, FAA, CAA, national authorities)
- radio spectrum and transmission rules
- UAV / UAS operational requirements
- local airspace and safety regulations
12. Assumption of risk
Section titled “12. Assumption of risk”The User acknowledges that operating RC aircraft, UAVs, and autonomous systems involves inherent and significant risks, and explicitly assumes all such risks.
13. Acceptance of terms
Section titled “13. Acceptance of terms”By purchasing, installing, powering on, or using Magic Box, the User:
- confirms understanding of its experimental nature
- accepts full responsibility and liability
- agrees to these Terms & Conditions in full and without reservation
If the User does not agree, they must not use Magic Box.
